Organic Peroxides / Ketones

Luperox ®

Identification

Luperox® K1G ketone peroxide

  • Luperox® K1G ketone peroxide is a standard grade with 9.0-9.4% active oxygen. This formulation uses a phthalate-free diluent and is recommended for use in curing of polyesters and gel coats.

Luperox® K1G VR ketone peroxide

  • Standard grade, phthalate-free with vanishing red dye. Recommended for curing of orthophthalic or isophthalic resins in combination with cobalt accelerator.

Luperox® K1S ketone peroxide

  • Standard grade with 9.0-9.4% active oxygen and dimethyl phthalate diluent. Recommended for use in gel coat, due to low hydrogen peroxide content.

Luperox® K2 ketone peroxide

  • MIBKP for short curing cycles at medium & high temperatures from 60°C to 120°C. Recommended for manufacture of flat & corrugated sheets in continuous processes.

Luperox® K3 acetyl acetone peroxide

  • Rapid gel to exotherm performance in many resin systems. Fast curing & heat dissipation is useful for continuous production techniques. Recommended for color-sensitive applications in combination with accelerators. Not recommended for gel coats or vinyl-ester.

Luperox® K4CE cyclohexanone peroxide

  • Cyclohexanone peroxide provides short gel times & gradual curing with a low peak temperature. This product helps to ensure complete curing in dense articles without stress cracking.

Luperox® K10 ketone peroxide

  • High activity product with 9.7-10.0% active oxygen. Offers fast gel & cure time for a variety of ortho & isophthalic resin systems.

Luperox® K10 red ketone peroxide

  • High activity product with 9.7-10.0% active oxygen and red dye added for easy identification during spray-up or lay-up applications.

Luperox® K12G ketone peroxide

  • Lower activity product, with phthalate-free diluent. Offers longer gel times in ortho & isophthalic resin systems. Particularly suitable during warm weather. Highly recommended for vinyl-ester resins.

Luperox® K18 ketone peroxide

  • Very high activity product with 9.7-10.0% active oxygen for fastest gel & cure times with higher peak exotherm.

Luperox® Z11G peroxide blend

  • MEK peroxide and acetyl acetone peroxide blend with non-phthalate diluent. Faster curing and higher peak exotherm than ketone peroxide alone.

Luperox® Z13G peroxide blend

  • Dilute MEK peroxide and acetyl acetone peroxide blend with < 6.9% active oxygen and non-phthalate diluent. Recommended for high-accuracy metering.

Luperox® Z33G peroxide blend

  • More dilute MEK peroxide and acetyl acetone peroxide blend, < 5.9% active oxygen and non-phthalate diluent.

Luperox® Z350 peroxide blend

  • High-activity blend for fast throughput curing operations. This blend is suitable for continuous & semi-continuous processes like filament winding or centrifugal casting. Reduces residual styrene content without post curing and does not generate or contain aromatics.

Luperox® Z390 peroxide blend

  • Blend of acetyl acetone peroxide and t-butyl peroxybenzoate. Recommended for high-throughput and high peak exotherm continuous or semi-continous process techniques.

Luperfoam® 329

  • Exclusive foaming system that transforms UPR in a foamed structural resin. Overall weight reduction, faster cycle times & better mold filling are its main advantages. Can be used in ortho or isophthalic resins, glass reinforced or not.

Luperox® DDM-9 ketone peroxide

  • Phthalate-free ketone peroxide for room-temperature curing of unsaturated polyester resins and gel-coats. Low residual hydrogen peroxide content and consistent performance.

Luperox® DDM-30 ketone peroxide

  • A dilute form of Luperox® DDM-9 to ensure metering accuracy, and offer lower peak exotherm.

Luperox® DHD-9 ketone peroxide

  • Phthalate-free ketone peroxide formulated to yield faster gel & cure times than Luperox® DDM-9. Recommended vinyl ester & isophthalic resins.

Luperox® Delta-X-9 ketone peroxide

  • Phthalate-free ketone peroxide for fast curing of ortho & isophthalic resin systems.

Luperox® 224 ketone peroxide

  • Acetyl acetone peroxide for rapid gel-to-peak and use in cold climates. Offers long pot life in unpromoted resins. Not recommended for use in gel coats.
