21 Jun 2026

Speaking before more than 600 guests at the Chilelácteo Congress, Agriculture Minister Jaime Campos highlighted the dynamism, productivity, and growth of Chile’s dairy sector. The year 2025 was marked by a historic record, with industrial milk intake reaching 2,546,221 thousand liters (620,000 cows), representing a 5.9% increase in production compared to 2024. He also emphasized the need for competitiveness, strategic positioning within the agricultural supply chain, and the importance of differentiation.

Antonio Walker, president of the National Agricultural Society (SNA), in addition to highlighting the sector’s significant contribution to agriculture, emphasized the high quality of dairy products, while Marcos Winkler, president of Fedeleche, confirmed the opportunities for international development with premium dairy products.

All the challenges raised by the authorities had one thing in common: the quality and traceability of milk areas in which Austral Food Safety provides essential and comprehensive support through cutting-edge solutions approved by international dairy companies.

Austral Food Safety participated in this event dedicated to the dairy industry and organized by Fedeleche on June 17 and 18 in Orsorno.
