Certifcation ISO 22000 Food Safety

Implementing ISO 22000 seemed to us the best way to actively contribute to food safety. 2 years of preparation + 1 year of implementation for an extremely demanding management system involving:

1. Identification and control of food safety related hazards.

2. Implementation of prerequisite programs (PRP), operational prerequisites (ORP), critical control points (CCP), a HACCP system, and a risk management based approach.

3. A complete and traceable system to ensure safety throughout the supply chain.

Applying ISO 22000 in Austral, which does not produce food, requires a deep interpretation of the standard, a complete adaptation of the IMS and a team deeply involved and convinced of its impact on food safety. Thanks to Creavalor for their valuable support during these 3 years that allows us to be the first certified company in our sector in Chile, in LATAM, and one of the very few worldwide.
