Austral Chemicals announce the expansion of its current distribution agreement with Igcar Chemicals, going from the exclusive distribution in the leather sector to the paper, home care and paint industries.
Since 2007 Austral Chemicals has been commercialized Igcar’s chemicals for the leather industry in Chile. This new agreement focuses on optical brighteners (OBA) known worldwide under the Neucoblanc® brand. These solutions are used in tissue paper, cardboard and offset paper as well as for the formulation of liquid and powder detergents, and finally for waterborne paints.
Thus Igcar consolidate its strategy of entering the South American market after its 30 years of experience assisting the paper industry in Europe, North Africa and recently in Mexico and Peru. Igcar sells its optical brighteners solutions in the leading Eurpean companies. Recently Igcar entered into detergency and paints with successful results in Europe, North Africa and Latin America.
